5 gum gets it name from supposedly stimulating your five senses. 5 gum has the best packaging on the market in my opinion. They even claim that the package glows under black light. I checked it out and the 5's on the package pop off the box. Kinda cool. Each package contains 15 sticks of foil-wrapped gum standing in 3 columns of 5 sticks each. 5 gum comes in 3 different flavors: Rain (spearmint), Cobalt (peppermint) and Flare (cinnamon).

I really like the 'green' one Rain. Rain is supposed to tingle when you chew it. The flavor last forever and it doesn't lose it's tingle.

One really cool thing about the 5 gum web site is you can challenge one of your friends to a game of Row-Sham-Bo (Rock, Paper, Scissors) or as they call it Rain, Flare, Cobalt. What you do is select one of the three choices (Rain, Flare, Cobalt) and then your choice gets emailed to your opponent. Your opponent then selects his/her choice to see if they beat you. It even keeps score for you! Unfortunately the email kinda looks like spam and I didn't get a response back for any of my challenges. I thought that was a cool game concept for the gum.

Gum can help you lose weight, aid quitting smoking and freshen breath. There are correlations that gum can improve your memory as well. Just the exercise from chewing in my opinion is probably good for the brain. It could increased blood flow to your head. Blood vessels in your head dilate to deal with the little bit of extra blood needed to sustain chewing. Oxygen is required by all cells, including the brain. Doing cardiovascular activity can improve the brains functions. So, Get on the exercise bike while chewing and don't smoke!
